Hey Alena! I loved your podcast and the many perspectives you guys gave on book clubs, in non -literature classrooms. I agree with your point that, in a book club, students can hear the different perspectives of their peers, which allows them to think about points they might not have thought of themselves. Yall did a great job in relating the book "I am Malala" to middle-grade students. I agree with the point Callie made, that this book would be good for a group of middle school girls to read to gain a more worldly perspective on educational rights for young women. word count 100
